Nice shots! I’d love to try the Pentax 17, it looks like a lot of fun to use. After being obsessed with my Rolleiflex the last few years I can totally see the appeal of shooting with something faster and carefree that just fits in my pocket 🤣

Okay, so I tell myself I'm going to stick to shooting Kentmere Pan 200, 400, and good ol' HP5 on my H35N but I know I'm too ADHD to stick to just B&W, haha.

Along with my H35N, I'll experiment more with my Zeiss Ikon Nettar 517/2 and my Rebel X!

While I'm still in my B&W phase, I might experiment with self developing with caffenol!

These are incredible! I love the colors on that film stock 😍 I’m another member of the half frame club! Struggling some with the focus on the Pentax, but I’ve been using a LIDAR measuring app on this current roll so hopefully I’ll be more successful 🤞🏼looking forward to seeing your garden photos when they’re ready 😁

Hey M! I’m happy to see you survived Winter and now getting through Spring it will be Summer soon. I’m still ‘soldiering-on’ with a Yashica 44 and re-rolled Ilford 46mm HP5 from their ULF Sale processed in the AGO with Pyro-510. Film processing gets done in port, where there’s a steady Water Supply.., scanning where there’s shore power for a Laptop & a Digitaliza.

Finding a Pentax -17 has been a challenge, and I’ve been shooting a bit with a vintage Nikon EL of the various Marina’s I visit whilst living on the Tayana 37 here in Lake Michigan and beyond.

Hi hi hi!!!! Yay yay yay! So happy to read this from you! And absolutely delighted for another half frame year enthusiastic! Mine is the Kodak H35N this year - and has been a blast so far. Loving these photos, btw. Just bought one roll of Catlabs 100 (I think?) in 120 - eager to try it!

I like your photos! My 'new' Fujifilm camera for this summer is sort of the opposite of half frame; I picked up a GW690 II. And now that it's hot here in So. Arizona, I've switched to nightscapes.

thanks! haha that is very much the opposite but a beast of a camera in a good way :) nightscapes seems perfect to avoid the heat!

Good to hear from you again. I plan to use a newly acquired Olympus Pen and some Lomo Purple during the summer along with black and white in a variety of cameras.

It's an EE-3 that has been re-skinned in blue from Cameras by Max. I bought it as an upgrade from my Diana Mini.

These are great, and the results from the Pentax 17 are stunning! I've had the chance to hold one in my hand, and it feels like a solid little camera! As for what I'm looking forward to shooting this spring and summer, well, the new Kentmere 200, Kingston, Ontario, World War 1 & War of 1812 events. And also playing a bit with filters and IR films!

The lens feels like a premium point and shoot, it’s great! Looking forward to your thoughts on the 200 film and those sound like great events for film - which IR films are you trying? That’s still on my list to get into lol
