Something is really wrong with their plastic canisters. I blew two rolls of this film; one in Olympus 2M, the other in Canon ML. Under exposed terribly and/or film pulled too tight in the camera for over exposure. Just a disaster. I'm sticking with LOMO 800.
Have not tried it yet (let me check my Google sheet of film inventory -- nope, I don't have any in the fridge/freezer) -- but -- to me -- it has more of a Kodak look than a Fuji look, but still a little on the subdued side even for Kodak -- but not the smooth pastels of Portra. Sure does not look like an expired stock -- the grain is decent for 800 ISO and the colors are pretty true. The indoor shots are great also. I am a bit wary of the cartridges based on the issues reported -- but I'd like to shoot it anyway! Now Molly-Kate! Don't you know that it's dangerous to take pictures while ice-skating! Especially of yourself! (OK -- angry/overprotective Dad rant off!!!) Thank you!!!
hey!! ok for whatever reason, Substack isn't notifying me of comments on posts so I've missed a few to respond to! sorry! I looked in my settings but can't see that I've turned anything off...anyways lol yes, it's still worth trying even with the cartridges (annoying though but good for flic film if certain metals become a supply issue like it was for Kodak) - good thing I'm a relatively solid skater!! lol
Weird -- I can Reply but I cannot Like your response! Still have not ordered any of that film -- still have a few hundred rolls of oddball expired film and about 100 rolls of fresh to work through!
I tried it and I really liked it - to be fair, I'm a big fan of higher iso film (like Lomo 800 and Portra 800 in 120). I need to get more rolls to test it low light situations but it's seemingly sold out every where. I am a big fan of Elektra 100 from flic film if you haven't tried that yet

That’s odd! Mine turned out ok, underexposed if anything but I was using sunny 16, lomo 800 is amazing but elusive and expensive lol
